1. New faculty: orientation (drop in anytime).
2. New faculty: Peterson Fund (endowment for
ordering
new books for new faculty: see librarian).
3. Ordering new books (see departmental library
representative* or librarian).
4. Ordering new journals (see departmental
library representative* or
librarian).
5. Placing items on reserve (see library staff).
6. New book display: new books are displayed for
one
week on top of card catalog (add name to waiting list in each item).
Monthly lists of new books are available by email or campus mail.
7. New journal issue display: latest issues are
displayed for one week before circulating.
8. Special circulation (similar to routing) of
new
journal issues (see library staff for rules and to arrange
service).
9. Library use instruction (see librarian for
library
tours, classroom presentations, and development of library exercises).
10. Suggestions (see library staff or librarian).
