A Brief Guide

The Biological Sciences Library (Grinnell Library), located on the first floor of Kendall Hall at the University of New Hampshire, serves the College of Life Sciences and Agriculture, the Agricultural Experiment Station, the Cooperative Extension Service, and other related departments and research units as well as the statewide academic community and the general public.

The collection numbers over 75,000 volumes including over 800 serial titles. The online catalog covers material in all campus libraries. Certain books and reserve materials are shelved behind the main desk. New books and new journal issues are displayed for one week before circulating. Periodicals, consisting mostly of research journals, are shelved alphabetically by title. Access to journal articles is through the online index databases listed by title in the online catalog and in the Biological Sciences Library digital collection and the master list of databases and electronic journals.
