To search other library catalogs combined, use WorldCat (last 4,000 years, over 72 million records from 9,000 member institutions worldwide, over 1 billion holdings, lists libraries that own item, ILL button links to UNH InterLibrary Loan).

Pubget ( free to all, use for articles in life sciences, not as comprehensive as the following databases, does not have links to full text ejournals licensed to UNH at this point.)

• CABDirect (1973+, use for agriculture in other countries, combines E-CD, Forestry Abstracts, Soils & Fertilizers, Nutrition Abstracts, Veterinary Bulletin, and many others into one database)

• Biological Abstracts (1985+, use for journal articles, covers about 7000 sources, long abstracts, particularly good for searching by systematic category or scientific name)

• Current Protocols in Molecular Biology (2004+, lab manual containing basic methods for DNA preparation and isolation, library screening, and sequencing along with more advanced procedures detailing DNA-protein interactions, yeast manipulation, and phosphorylation analyses, partially funded by the Philip J. Sawyer Fund)
• Nutrition Care Manual (2008+, provides research-based nutrition information and clinical tools for dietitians, dietetic technicians, and other health care professionals.)

• FAOSTAT (numerical database of international food and agriculture statistics, multilingual, access provided by Complex Systems Research Center)
• Proteome Bioknowledge Library (1994+, a collection of databases focused on the compilation of available protein information. All databases contain Protein Reports.
